How to print coupons.com coupons

How to use Coupons.com

First I need to DISCLOSE that if you print your coupons from the coupon bar (“widget”) on the right or use the coupons.com links in my post, you are helping to support this blog. I do get money – pennies really when you look at the time (hear husband groaning loudly in the background…) I spend blogging, but it is my coffee money. Secondly I need to disclose that the idea for this post and its content was shamelessly “borrowed” from my pals over at FabulesslyFrugal – and they are FAB!

Now, onto the lesson and why I wanted to share this. I find coupons.com sometimes a pain to navigate. They do have categories on the side, but once you have printed them once you have to scroll through the pages to find them again – AHHHH!! Now I am not complaining that there are loads of coupons – that rocks, but the scrolling… So hear goes.

Look over to the right at the green coupons.com bar on the right. Click where it says “see all coupons”.
coupons.com widget
A window will pop-up where you can scroll through all the coupons… see below
Click on the coupons you want, then click “print now”.  (They will print 3 to a page so you may want to check the entire list for potential coupons instead of just printing one.)

You can print each coupon twice per computer, so if you want to print those same ones again, click where it says “by coupons.com” on the bottom of the widget to go back to coupons.com

Here is where my aggravation comes… scrolling through all those pages to find the ones I just printed.  SO, go to the last page.

That is the secret to what seems like the random shuffle that happens (wa ha ha…) Here you will find the ones that state “print limit reached” meaning you already printed those twice. Above those you will find the coupons you just printed! How cool is that!

That is a much easier way to print 2 copies of the coupons you want without all the searching. Do you have another computer? Hop over to it and do it again. You get 2 prints per computer!

Other quick tips:

  • Set printer to “fast draft, black ink cartridge only” to help conserve ink.
  • If you did not print 3 to a page, consider flipping the paper over to print on the other side/end. BUT make sure you know how to re-load the paper or you risk printing on the back side of another coupon – LOL – I have done that. Saves on paper, but not worth losing a coupon if you do not do it right – remember you only get 2 prints.

Warm up that printer, grab your $1 paper reams from Staples, keep looking for cheap ink (LOL!) and head over to coupons.com and have at it!! Tell ‘em the Maven sent you – HE HE HE!
