If you recall, Target had a Black Friday Credit Card Breach.  The data breach resulted in the theft millions of credit card records and other records containing customer data.  The breach allegedly took place Thanksgiving night through either 12/6 or 12/15.  If you shopped at Target between November 27th and December 15th your information could have been compromised.

As a result, Target is offering FREE Credit Monitoring to all guests affected for one year.  The service, which will be available to all guests who shopped our U.S. stores, will include a complimentary credit report, daily credit monitoring, identity theft insurance where available, and access to personalized assistance.

Guests who sign up for free credit monitoring should continue to monitor their accounts and report any unusual or suspicious activity to their bank. We also want to remind guests that they have zero liability for the cost of any fraudulent charges arising from the breach.

Once you have signed up, you will need to allow 1-5 days to receive an email containing an activation code that you will use to set up your FREE 1-year Credit Monitoring. Please note you have until April 23, 2014 to sign up and receive an activation code and they must be redeemed by April 30, 2014.

Head over here to get all the information you will need.
