Rite Aid Deals 7/25 – 7/31

Here is Rite Aid’s coupon policy and make sure you get your Rite Aid Video Values (Ad-Perks) coupons watching videos – $5/$20 and $5/$25. There is also a $5/$25 valid through 7/31/10.

This is the beginning of AUGUST SCR’s – I would make sure you hurry and print your July Video Values NOW – I am guessing they will flip on Sunday – if they haven’t already!

So far there have been no publicized limits on +UP rewards though sometimes you can only get 1 per product, sometimes unlimited, sometimes 3.  Word is there will be limits (most likely 1 per wellness card – similar to CVS ECB) starting in August – which might be now.

Not a stellar week, but a few goodies.  I will add more later, but this should get you started.

Comments

  1. I did the deal today in CA and the Reach/Listerine Pocket Pack showed a $2.99 SCR, not $2.00. Also, do you know their policy on the UP Rewards. Have you tried using more than one per transaction? The cashier would only let me use one.

    • Roger – thanks for the Listerine info – typo… The +UP rewards are supposed to be treated like cash or a giftcard. You can use as many as you like (assuming you do not go below zero). She was wrong. There will be an official Q&A in August, but I will post something soon.

    • R. Moore says:

Lynn’s reply correctly addressed the redeeming of +UP rewards on a later transaction, within the time limit. My experience has been that you can use several at a time, even from the same product. I used 8 on one receipt last Monday.

But where there seems to be more irregularity is in R-A policy on how many +UP rewards are available for different products. Last week (7/18-24) I received 5 $1 +UP coupons for 5 Duracell battery packs in the same transaction, but could only get 1 each of the $2/Motrim PM and $7 Zegerid (and this was on a Seperate Transaction). This was not good because I had to return the second Zegerid after I saw what had happened. This week (7/25-31) I was leary of trying for a second Colgate $3 +UP, but I did receive 2 each of the $1 +UP in the same transaction for the Reach toothbrush, A&H Spinbrush, Wonka candy, and Nivea body wash (for which the store had added a note – limit of 4) .

So, there seem to be limits on some products but not on others, limits are not specified in the ads or on printed shelf tags, and store personnel have no idea if there are limits are until they see what the register computer prints out on your receipt (and then don’t know why: quantity on your Wellness+ card, or per day, or per transaction?) . Hopefully, in the near future R-A will publish some clarification, and I’ll be lookin’ to Mavin for the scoop.

      Thank you!

      • There unfortunately have been lots of programming errors with the +UP rewards which has led to all the confusion. I have heard that there WILL be limits starting in August and that IS noted in next weeks flyer – they state 1 per household. SO unless there are still programming issues, I would only count on 1 from now on.

  2. I have a question, I have gone shopping at my Rite Aid and when I submit for the rebate they say I am not eligable for any. Example, I bought the Ducolax, $8.99 one that had a rebate sticker under it, also I checked and it was in the rebate booklet as well. How do I fix it?

    • Lexi – has the receipt cleared yet? If it has, then I would call the 800 # listed on the single check rebate page and give them all the info. They are very responsive. There is a chance you bought the wrong one – which you should be able to exchange if that is the issue.

  3. There are so many different Rite Aid ads, with different sale prices and even different UP rewards….we should all complain to Rite Aid to make them all uniform….They adjust the price for me when I show them a different Rite Aid ad (from my Sunday paper instead of local paper), but the Zegerid UP reward did not print at my local store! Luckily there is a MIR for the Zegerid. Also a MIR for TENA Serenity pads, making it a $3 MM due to the UP reward.

    • Nicole – I knew there is a SHORT AD (typically on the west coast) and sometimes wrap arounds that are not consistent, but they usually are in different regions – I did not think they were different from store to paper in the same are – WOW!

  4. Great List! I featured you on my Rite Aid deals this week:)
