NEW Shaw’s Coupon Policy
Shaw’s new coupon policy has been rolling out across the stores the last few weeks (hit or miss which stores knew about it, so I waited) but it is finally official online. Unfortunately it is NOT for the better.
The changes affect using coupons on BOGO sales and manufacturer coupons with other store names and logos on them. Here are the changes:
Coupons With Other Retailer’s Logos:
- We do not accept manufacturer coupons with another retailer’s name or retail logo printed on the coupon. We only accept valid Catalina manufacturer coupons from other retailers.
- Other Retailer coupons are not accepted with the exception of valid Catalina manufacturer coupons for specific item(s) that Shaw’s carries and “manufacturer” must be stated on the coupon. Other Retailer Catalina store coupons are not accepted.
So insert or printed manufacturing coupons with other store logos and names are a NO GO… but catalina manufacturer coupons from any store as long as they are manufacturing coupons are OK!
The change for BOGO sales is basically similar to other stores in that you cannot use a manufacturer coupon on the FREE item:
- One valid manufacturer coupon may be used per BOGO free offer.
- Coupon may not be applied on a free item.
You can see the complete COUPON POLICY here as well as other ways to save at Shaw’s.
GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS
BAD NEWS – THERE IS NO WAY I can print out all the coupons to check them before doing the matchups. So let me know when you find one and I will note it.
GOOD NEWS – If it is a great deal, if Shaw’s will not take the coupon you can use the flyer and PRICE MATCH at Walmart or Target.
