Market Basket Deals & Coupon Matchup 10/28 – 11/3/12

Market Basket Deals 10/28 – 11/3/12

Here are the deals Market Basket week of 10/28/12.  Let me know what coupons you find in store.

Market Basket does NOT double coupons, but they do accept internet coupons and typically have coupons posted ALL OVER THE STORE – so keep those eyes open.

Though there is NO official coupon policy, one store manager notified a reader that coupons with other store logos on them will not be accepted.  Could be just that store or all and we will never see a written policy, but just be aware.

Check off the items below to create your own shopping list – and add your own too.

  1. The coupon for $1 off cranberry juice from your link is only good at WalMart. Market Basket doesn’t accept those coupons.

  2. Going to price match at Walmart then, thanks.

  3. I went to the Somerville, MA market Basket, and they would not take a $1.00/1 Lipton Tea maufacturer coupon, because it had a tiny Stop & Shop logo on it. It went all the way to the store manager who said no. I asked for the corporate number, and within an hour received a call from corporate apologizing, saying, yes, they should have accepted the coupons, Stop & Shop logo or not. He said he was going to call and make sure that they knew the policy. They mailed me a $10.00 Market Basket store card for the error. So, I will always have that corporate letter with me when I shop at MB.
Also, FYI, 4 days earlier, I had used the exact same coupons for the Lipton’s Tea at the new Bourne MB on my way back from the Cape, went through with no problem.

    • Some of the stores do not realize that the logo, for example, will say “Available at Walmart”. It’s like an advertisement. A clerk that doesn’t know what they are looking at and doesn’t bother to scan the coupon, will tell you no, in reality, it’s a legit coupon. Been there, done that, held up the line for my coupons LOL.

  4. I got a special insert in my sunday paper–”Driven to Save More” that had coupons for everything on page 3 of my Market Basket flyer. You can print some of them from DriventoSaveMore dot com
