I told you in my Staycation post to keep an eye on daily deal sites like Groupon to save on local family fun. Today there are 2 decent deals in the Boston are:

The one-hour Charles River tour cruises through the Charles River Basin, brushing flirtatiously past definitive Boston locations such as Beacon Hill, the Back Bay, and Esplanade Park while sharing the water with Ivy League rowing teams and Cantabrigian mermen. The sunset cruise sets off before dusk, sailing past the Boston and Cambridge skylines before turning around near Harvard for a direct view of the sunset and uninterrupted dialogue with the Sun God. The sunset tour includes a full-service bar, allowing guests to discuss the night’s best sights and most human-sounding geese noises over a refreshing cocktail.
I am thinking this is a GREAT DEAL and some thing I would not think to do.
Another deal worth looking at is 50% off The Fruitlands Museum weekly concert series. For $20 you can get 2 tickets to one of 8 performances to choose from that run on Wednesdays at 7pm. I had never heard of the Fruitlands Museum prior to researching my Staycation post, but it is on my list of places to visit now. Have any of you ever been to their concert series?

There is a $0.75/1 Ritz Crackerfuls coupon available on facebook. It is NEW to me, but not sure if you already have it. Some have said that they are on sale 2/$4 at their Shaws, so they would be $0.50 after coupon doubles. This is great for those of us who missed out on the Walgreens 2 day sale.
