Since I have lost a few of you in the transition – specifically a lot of google feed subscribers – I thought it would be nice to resurrect this post to help you re-subscribe. I am not quite sure what happened, BUT please re-subscribe so you can get all the up-to-date deals.
In case you did not know, there are 4 ways you can get all the great deals from Maven of Savin’ each day.
RSS or Real Simple Syndication (hey look I am syndicated – LOL) allows a reader to subscribe to new posts on a blog or website by email (more below) or feed reader. Tired of checking your favorite sites every couple hours looking for something new? Subscribing to feed through a feed reader delivers all new posts right to you when the deals are posted instead of waiting for a once/day email. What is a feed reader, you ask? It is a site that lets you manage all your subscriptions. You see all the new posts from all the sites you are following as they are posted. Two popular choices are Google Reader and Bloglines. I am partial to google reader. If you have a gmail account, you already have access to it. It is all FREE! Just sign in/ or create an account and you are ready to go. You are going to LOVE IT!
Of course you can also subscribe to the feed by email. This means you will get an email once a day with all the new posts since the last time. So it is not instant. My emails are scheduled to go out automatically around 3pm. If you do not get an email, I would pop by the site as there have been times the emails did not go out – no idea why.
I am now on Twitter! You can follow all my posts on twitter. They are automatically tweeted – though there is a little time delay. If you are an avid twitter user, this may be for you as you can RT (re-tweet) to all your friends.
Finally you can become a FAN of Maven of Savin’ on Facebook. Not all posts go to facebook – most do and sometimes there are extra goodies as well!
Pick the one that is right for you! If you have any questions, please ASK!
A couple other goodies:

You will now see this Print Friendly icon after every post. This will allow you to print that post only without all the other stuff on the page. You can print your own shopping list! Hope you like it!
As a reminder you also see this under every post. This allows you to SHARE a particular post/deal with your friends via facebook, email, twitter and more…
You may have noticed this new button. This is my disclosure button. FTC guidelines require that I let you know if a post contains affiliate links. If you click on it, it will lead you to my disclosure policy.

I saw you on tv the other night, and I thought I would check out your website. I find it just a little confusing and somewhat intimidating. My wife and I both look through the Sunday paper to see if there are any coupons that are of interest, BUT the bulk of the “savings” are not really savings since they are coupons for things we do not want and would never buy. As I look through your website and see thousands of ways I can “sign up,” it leaves me worrying that I will end up automatically (unknowingly and unintentionally) “agreeing” to receive tons of emails that really end up being nothing more than more spam in my Inbox. I do not want to sign up to get any automatic anything, because I don’t feel comfortable that by doing so I will not be signing up for a flood of “deals” on things I don’t want and don’t need. I looked on your website to see something that would perhaps better explain the process, and other than the “technical” explanation of how an RSS works, I can’t find it. I see “deals” and coupons posted, but since I don’t immediately know the prices of many of the listed items, I can’t really tell whether the posted price is good or not so good. (Just because a price is “loudly” advertised, does not automatically make the price a good price. We find price differentials in many stores. That’s why we shop more than just one store.)
Anyway, I have bookmarked your website, and I will try to check it out, but when I click on a button to see printable coupons, and then I am taken to a page where I can’t see anything unless I subscribe, I am not willing to blindly subscribe. Thank you.
