Menu Plan Monday 11/23

by Lynn on November 23, 2009

So this week is going to be a lot of easy meals that require few dishes and little clean-up. I also need to try not to make the mistakes of past years – having leftovers and stuff in the fridge BEFORE Thanksgiving. That makes prep and storing of all the FEAST foods very difficult. This week we shall EMPTY the fridge!

MONDAY – Curly’s Pulled Pork, fries, watermelon

TUESDAY – pasta, crescent rolls (all of these items including the sauce were FREE)

WEDNESDAY – pizza or takeout – anything requiring no dishes or cleanup!

THURSDAY -

  • Dry Brined Turkey (let’s hope it is good)
  • To Die For Make-Ahead Mash Potatoes – I hate mashed potatoes, I know it is un- American, especially for the wife of an Irish boy, BUT I LOVE THESE!!
  • Scalloped Corn - have not tried yet, but sounds sooooo yummy!
  • Sweet Potatoes or squash
  • green beans
  • stuffing
  • gravy
  • Asian Cole Slaw(I will be back with the recipe…)

FRIDAY – LEFTOVERS – I hope!

SATURDAY – no idea, depend on if we still have company

SUNDAY – Southwest Chicken & Potatoe Casserole

If you are cooking, may your Turkey be moist and scrumptious. ENJOY, RELAX and cherish your loved ones.
