The Orpheum Theatre is a non-profit theater in Foxboro, MA and OrpheumKids is working to bring more events for children to the theatre!
The program is designed to help parents find wonderful and affordable programs and events to do with their children while supporting a local community arts organization. OrpheumKids includes carefully selected talented musical performances, educational events, quality programs and other entertainment.
I had no idea there were children’s performances and I was so excited when the folks from OrpheumKids contacted me and offered 2 giveaway packages of 2 tickets for their next performance!! I cannot wait to check them out! My children love music and the arts and especially DINOSAURS!
Jim West’s DINOSAUR Show!
Jim West’s DINOSAURS combines classical music, puppet construction and facts about dinosaurs into an engaging and funny performance for children. Nationally acclaimed puppeteer Jim West and Fossil, the dinosaur detective, mix fun and facts in this colossal show inspired by everyone’s favorite prehistoric creatures.
Children will travel from the present to the past as puppeteers bring to life a Tyrannosaurus Rex, share a shadow tale of an Overaptor and introduce audiences to a little Brachiosaurus. Mozart, Beethoven, Mahler, Stravinsky and Prokofiev provide the rich musical score.
