Supposedly yesterday the GM catalina was doubling – of course, this was my first attempt and it FAILED!! Seems it may have been a glitch – SO I WOULD STICK TO SINGLE TRANSACTIONS! Customer Service just printed me the 2nd $10 cat because they knew I would just return half the stuff and rering – it was not worth the hassle to them.
However, they were CONVINCED that it did not work because they think it has to be $25 spent AFTER coupons – we agreed to disagree!
transaction 1:
3 Grands $6 – $1 coupon = $5
3 Simply cookies $7.50 – $3.50 coupons = $4
4 Chex Mix $6.67 – $2 coupons = $4.67
2 Savorings $6.66 – $2 coupons = $4.66
2 Total $4 – $2.50 coupons = $1.50
1 Green Giant veggie $0.75
total = $20.58 and got 2 $10 cats & $4 pillsbury cat = $4.42 profit
So since I had a horrible trip in Dedham, I decided to split my other planned $50 transaction at the Norwood store. Of course their prices are lower so I had to improvise a bit.
transaction3:
3 Total $6 – $1.50 coupon = $4.50
3 Progresso micro $6 – $2.10 = $3.90
total = $8.40 (I threw in a head of lettuce i needed so i could pay with a $10 cat) and get $10 cat = $$1.60 profit
(My cat did not print – we thought maybe only so many transactions a day, but a VERY NICE manager helped me play with the transaction and figured out the Beef Progresso did not count – only the chicken noodle – I will have to check upc’s, but everything worked out)
Transaction 4:
4 Crescents $6.67 – $2 coupons = $4.67
4 Gogurts $10 – $2.20 (had $0.55/2 peelies on them that doubled)$7.80
1 green giant veggie $0.75 (threw it in cause both other items were less than Dedham, messingup my $25)
total $13.22 and got $10 GM cat & $2 pillsbury cat = $1.22
Net for the day is $100 worth of food for $4.80 profit!
