I decided to write a post about organizing. Though I am not a completely organized person, I strive to be. I believe that being organized, though initially time consuming, eventually saves you money and TIME. I will try to have an organizing theme at least one day/week – not sure which one yet.

While doing my research I came upon this quote…

“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” -William Morris

I think this is truly fitting and will be my mantra.

This week, I wanted to share with you my never ending “black hole” of crap – THE MINIVAN!!! I will share with you over the next week or 2 how I solve this issue once and for all – I HOPE!! I found some fabulous resources online.

I recently stumbled upon Laura’s blog I’m an Organizing Junkie. She is a wealth of information and my inspiration to tackle the car first. She did a month long series which began with an older post about how to Organize Your Vehicle. This was followed up by a list of Vehicle Supplies which includes a step by step of how to begin. There is a wonderful review of various Auto Organizers – I cannot wait to buy mine!!! She wrapped up her month long challenge sharing links to others great ideas in Link-Tastic ~ The Organize Your Vehicle Edition. In this last post she called out one in particular which interested me. Angie at the creativemama has what she calls the Go-To-Bag. I am so unprepared when I am on the road which is probably irresponsible as I am the parent of 3 children.

It seems that Mandi @ OrganizingYourWay had the same idea for a post (found it last night as I finished up this draft). Check out her post and her readers comments. They have some good ideas.

So I begin my delve into the black hole!! The kids just emptied the van (supposedly). Let the games begin!!!
